Dress Code
|
- No attire WITH hoods attached will be allowed. ZERO head coverings allowed (hats, beanies, durags, scarves, bonnets, etc.)
- All skirts/ shorts should be at the knee for the 2024-2025 school year.
- NO BIKER/SPANDEX SHORTS
- No Crop Tops. All shirts/tops must be worn at the waist line with no skin or mid-section exposed.
- Leggings will be allowed for the 24-25 school year, but they must not be transparent.
- Bottoms should not have any skin exposed above the knees and should be worn at the waist with a belt, if necessary.
- Sleeveless, bare mid -drift, transparent, or any top depicting illegal substances, inappropriate pictures, messages, etc. are prohibited.
- Cover ups, and jackets are NOT approved to cover up/hide dress code violations.

Cell Phones / Bags
|
- No electronic devices during Instructional time
- Cell phones placed in assigned spot in Cell Phone Hotel
- Bags to the wall
|
Skipping Class
|
- First offense: one full day of ISS
- Repeated offense: three days of ISS
- Attendance Contract signed by parents + Grounded List
|
Tardy/Late to School
|
- Main Entrance ONLY via FRONT OFFICE (after 7:20)
- Enter through Open Gate
- Sign In with front office / receive printed pass
- Go straight to class
|
Tardy to Class
|
- Report to the Lightning Lab Bolt Room (former ISS room).
- No Cell Phones.
- No Bags.
- No Chromebooks.
- Repeat offenders: one full day of ISS
- Attendance Contract signed by parents + Grounded List

Hall Passes
|
Students will be taught how to use the Silent Pass app on our LaunchPad as it pertains to hall passes.Requesting a hall pass is the students’ responsibility. Students will be given two hall passes per day and must carry our ‘FATHEAD” pass when leaving.A student who leaves the classroom MUST:
Must have a signed pass with the date and time if returning from the Clinic, Main Office, Media Center, or another teacher.

Early Sign Out
|
- Per the School District of Lee County policy 4.16 students may not be signed-out after 1:05 PM. Guardians who are not listed on the student's school records as an authorized contact will not be permitted to sign the student out of school.
- Students signing out prior to 1:05 PM must be verified by LSHS Attendance Office.
- Students who drive to school - Email requests for early sign-out must be submitted no later than 8:30 AM on the day of sign-out request. The email must include a legible copy of the guardian's identification (driver’s license or notification sent from parent email registered in FOCUS) along with contact information for verification. * emails can be sent to: [email protected]
- Students who do not drive to school must have a parent sign them out in the front office for early release.

Drop Off / Pick Up
|
- Walkers / Bike Riders: enter at the gate between buildings 1 and 3.
- Drivers: Park in Student Parking and enter at Open Gate black gates near Parent Pick Up (PPU) entrance.
- Dropped off by driver / private transportation vans: use the Parent Pick Up (PPU) loop.
- Follow traffic cones; follow security specialist directions; follow School Deputy Directions

Breakfast
|
- Breakfast will resume in the cafeteria for the 24-25 school year. Students will only have access to the downstairs cafe and courtyard area beginning at 6:50 and will be released to classes beginning at 6:50.
- Lunch locations will be limited to the cafeteria, cafeteria courtyards, and picnic areas outside the cafeteria area.
- While we encourage students to participate in the free lunch program and supper program at school, be advised that lunch CANNOT be delivered to school during school hours.

Clinic
|
- All medication needs must be documented in the clinic and be accompanied by a Doctor’s Authorization letter.
- All students visiting the clinic must request a written pass or FAT HEAD pass to visit the clinic.
- Students MUST Silent Pass out on their chromebook to visit the clinic.

Grounded List
|
10+ referrals; 20 tardies
Loss of privileges to attend clubs, sports, after school activities, and other school events (Pep Rallys, Homecoming, Prom, etc.) Center/Cambridge students will be placed on probation for the program.
