ABOUT US

Our Center for the Arts Theatre Program offers students a fast-paced, preprofessional environment where they gain hands-on experience in musical theatre, theatre, and technical theatre. Throughout the school year, students have the opportunity to participate in five published plays or musicals, along with other performances and events. The program emphasizes skill development in performance, tech, and design, providing a dynamic and immersive learning experience that prepares students for future success in the theatre industry.

Theatre

As a Theatre major, you develop skills in acting methods, movement, speech projection, and character development. You'll learn to master techniques for physical and emotional expression, enhance vocal clarity, and bring depth to every role, preparing you for a range of theatrical performances.

Musical Theatre

As a Musical Theatre major, you receive comprehensive training in vocal, dance, and acting, honing your skills across all aspects of performance. Technical Theatre

A Technical Theatre major focuses on behind-the-scenes work in live performances. Students gain hands-on experience in stage production, including costume design, lighting, sound programming, and operating technical equipment.
