On Tuesday, January 31st, the Center for the Arts will be hosting the SAC meeting from 6:30-7:30. It will be held in the Visual Arts gallery with a Power Point presentation by each of the three areas. Student who bring parents will earn extra credit! Come learn more about Center for the Arts.

For many students, the dream of continuing their education past high school would not be possible if not for financial aid. There are numerous ways students can get the financial help they need to make their college or university dreams a reality.

Senior Superlatives

The Yearbook staff would like to invite you to participate in the Senior Superlatives voting! Please fill out this survey to the best of your ability and to the person(s) most fitting for each question. IMPORTANT: DEADLINE IS JANUARY 27th. You MUST be a Senior. Seniors - Scholarship Opportunity

Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union has announced that the application period for their 2012 Scholarship for high school seniors is now open. Scholarships range from $4,000 to $10,000. Scholarship recipients must attend an accredited 4 year, 2-year college or technical/vocational school in the State of Florida. The application deadline is March 31, 2012.

Students must apply online at www.suncoastfcu.org. No paper applications will be accepted.

Our official graduation date is 2:00pm, Sunday, May 20th at the Lee County Civic Center.

Lee County All County Honor Band

LSHS student chosen for Bandmaster All State Jazz Band

Lehigh Senior High School Center for the Arts student, Bryson Wheeler, has been selected to the Florida Bandmasters Association All State Jazz Band.

The Florida Bandmasters Association only takes four trombones from all the trombones that audition from all of Florida.

The Science Fair on January 13, 2012 was a big success. Lehigh Senior High School was well represented by Nick Lauta, Eliany Gonzalez, Juan Rebellodo, Alijandra Ros, and Jennifer Ros. Congratulations!

LSHS Football to be Recognized

Lehigh Senior High School Center for the Arts football team will be recognized at the Miami Dolphins halftime game. The Dolphins will be hosting the Buffalo Bills. The game is this Sunday, November 20th. The Lightning football team is being recognized for making the playoffs. Lehigh Senior Head Coach Pete Fominaya shared “this is a great experience for our students so they can see how athletics and academics can be a winning combination”.
