GENERAL
*Lehigh Senior High School Center for the
Arts social studies teacher, Ed Mathews, was
selected by the Gilder-Lehrman Institute of
American History to participate in a seminar
at the University of Virginia. Mathews
will be receiving intense academic
instruction on "The Age of Thomas
Jefferson."

ATHLETICS
*Erwin Wells and China Alexandre qualified
for the Track & Field 3A State
Championships. China was able to
qualify 4th in the 300 hurdles while Erwin
Wells won the Shot Put event. Both will be
competing at Winter Park High school in the
3A State Championships on May 8th.
Erwin also placed 5th (top 4 advance) in the
Discus with a PR of 141'.
